An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Tobacco Control Lead for the integrated Lifestyle Service across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

The Tobacco Control Lead will coordinate the Stop Smoking Service and support all tobacco control initiatives to reduce prevalence and meet the needs of the local Cambridgeshire and Peterborough smoking population.

We would like to hear from you, if you: 

  • Are highly motivated and able to work within a dynamic team within an integrated lifestyle service
  • Can deliver a leadership role in service planning, development, implementation and coordination of stop smoking services
  • To develop and coordinate a team of Stop Smoking Practitioners to ensure they provide evidence based effective stop smoking interventions
  • Can take accountability and responsibility for KPIs and ensure weekly/monthly updates are provided to the senior staff
  • To lead on the implementation of a robust training and mentoring programmes for your team

An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate, enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Healthy Workplace Co-ordinator. This role will contribute to the provision and coordination of a Healthy Workplace Service delivered across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough working closely with the new Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Healthy Lifestyle service.

Playing a pivotal role within this service, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of a countywide Healthy Workplace service, strategically managing an existing network of workplaces across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to ensure that the healthy workplace interventions are implemented successfully and evaluating the outcomes and reporting to the commissioners.

We would like to hear from you if you are experienced in:

  • Providing a leadership role in the planning, development and coordination of a Healthy Workplace service
  • Project management and activity planning with multiple community and professional groups.
  • People management including groups, professional colleagues and local communities
  • Evidence of experience in embracing and implementing change to provide high quality health outcomes, specifically for workplaces
  • Running Network meetings for small and large groups of professionals.
  • Delivering training to professionals

Nutritionist – Hackney

Part time Role – (20 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Nutritionist  practitioner with a passion and keen interest in weight management.  This role will contribute to the development, provision and coordination of the Child Weight Management Service in Hackney.  This community-based, multi component service offers a personalised care package for children from 5 – 25 years of age, with a focus on those overweight or obese, and those who are at high risk of obesity.  This service is delivered by an expert multi-disciplinary team, providing advice on healthy eating and physical activity.

Playing a pivotal role within this service, you will be responsible for providing high quality, nutrition advice and support, including NICE Compliant Children’s Weight Management group delivery working within a multi-disciplinary specialist weight management team. You will provide expert nutrition advice, underpinned by a sound knowledge of theoretical principles of behaviour change, to support children and their families, in the London Borough of Hackney to make informed decisions in relation to their weight.

We would like to hear from you if you are experienced in:

  • Delivering one to one and group interventions for children who are overweight or obese, with potential co-morbidities / complex needs.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • And have current Association for Nutrition Registration
  • Appropriate degree
  • Level 2 Children’s Exercise Certificate (or equivalent)
